Batemans Bay Tennis Club

Light Up Sports were awarded the contract to design, supply and install new LED lighting to 12 tennis courts.

COURTS 1 - 8

Existing timber poles and lights were removed. New 12m galvanised poles were installed on new footings to allow for new LED lighting to light 2 courts at a time, giving greater control to the club. All existing conduit and cabling, which sat atop the tennis court fence, was removed and replaced with a new underground cabling set up.

COURTS 9 - 12

All existing lights were removed from existing poles. New LUS 'M20' 500w LED fittings were installed on existing poles and cross arms and connected to existing cabling - allowing for a quick and easy installation.

The entire project has help reduce the club's energy consumption by 27% whilst providing a considerable increase in court light levels and uniformity.

Results are outstanding with an average of 670 lux on court at 0.76 uniformity over 12 courts, all with impressive cut off and low glare readings for players.
